  • MANAGING IBS SYMPTOMS CAN IMPROVE PERFORMANCE / Symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) can leave even the toughest not performing at their peak, and feeling slow, sluggish and uncomfortable. Garlic and onion are commonly included in pre-training meals, which can leave you feeling well below your best if these are trigger foods. Swapping these for @cobramestate Garlic and Onion Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oils can help with managing IBS symptoms, enabling you to perform at your absolute best without comprising the flavour of your favourite dish.

  • Daily goals ๐Ÿ™Œ
Seriously guys, how awesome does it feel when you finish a meal which not only tasted phenomenal, but left you feeling amazing well!? โšก๏ธโœจ๐Ÿ’ฏ ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ Nourishing your body, your mind and your tastebuds are all important when trying to live your best life. Focusing on the good stuff, or what you should be eating and doing ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ‰๐ŸŒ๐Ÿฅญ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿฅฅ๐Ÿฅ‘๐Ÿฅฆ, is a much more productive and healthy mindset than focusing on the โ€˜badโ€™ and what you shouldnโ€™t have or be doing. If you really want something, have it, but enjoy it and donโ€™t regret it ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿง€๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿฉ. At the end of the day if you eat well, you will be rewarded for it with a healthy mind and body, and you will feel pretty bloody amazing in the process โœจ
  • Breaky on the GO
While we would always encourage you to sit and savour your food, sometimes itโ€™s not possible. Poor planning shouldnโ€™t be an excuse for not nailing good food habits. Out of all three main meals, breakfast is the easiest to ace once you have a few good options which require only a little bit of planning and preparation. A few of our favourite breaky on the go options include
โœจ Greek yoghurt, oats/muesli + fruit
โšก๏ธOvernight oats - oats/muesli soaked in liquid of choice with Greek yoghurt overnight and then topped with fruit & nuts
๐ŸŒˆ Smoothie
๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ Starting your day off with a good foundation really sets you up for a successful day on all the levels - energy, mood and overall food choices ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป
  • We love nothing more than going in to a new week knowing we have set ourselves up with the best chance to ace it ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป.
Here at #HPC HQ, a big part of a successful week is setting aside a little bit of time on a Sunday to do some meal prep.
๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ If youโ€™re like us and donโ€™t enjoy eating the exact same thing every day, a good tip might be prepping a few different protein, salad and vegetable options so you can mix and match them each day for lunch and dinner. This way you keep the variety, nail the organisation and keep the mid week preparation to a minimum - all wins in our books! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ
The other Sunday essentials include making sure the calendar is up to date professionally and personally, booking in all of the exercise classes for the week, clearing or at least making the inboxes look slightly more respectable and ideally treating ourselves to a face mask in the process โœจ
โšก๏ธ We would love to know how you like to set yourself up for a successful week?
  • Happy Friday ๐Ÿ™Œ
Here we have another video from the series we filmed with our friends @athletesauthority. Hear from our @chloe_mcleod_dietitian on some of the best pre and post training options.
๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ Bit of a timely post given our exciting collab with @cycology_club & @lumierecafesydney for Feel Good February โœจ! For those who havenโ€™t been to a class - get cracking and we will see you there. We should warn you thought - the sweat, fun times and good vibes are REAL ๐Ÿ’•
