With the current COVID19 pandemic as well as the weather starting to cool down it is no surprise we are starting to see information online about “How to boost your immune system!” However, boosting your immune system isn’t exactly something we want to do, and here are the reasons why.
You see, boosting your immune system would actually cause much more harm than good and this is something that people with autoimmune disease have to live with everyday! An overactive immune system mistakenly starts to attack healthy organs and tissues which may lead to their failure. Our immune system is a very complex system that cannot be boosted or increased easily, especially not with foods or supplements.
What we can do however, is support our immune system and give it the best chance to fight off any incoming viruses or germs.
